Bergen and Heading North

On our flight into Bergen, we met a young seaman who is now a First Mate, next stop Captain. He sails an oil support ship, that supplies or provides material to build oil drilling platforms in the North Sea. Here are three examples of oil support ships in the Bergan harbor. How would you like to land a helicopter on that first ship as she rolls at sea? Not me. Finally, here is a picture where the sun is fairly high over the horizon (hard to tell with my little point and shoot). No, it's not 4 PM, it is 10:10 PM!

The area looks charming. Now off to the polar bears!
